From 19 to 22 November 2025, the Morocco electric scooter market became a new stage for “Wuxi Intelligent Manufacturing”. China electric scooter manufacturers from Xishan District in Wuxi travelled together to North Africa and made a collective appearance at the 2025 Morocco Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Expo (EVS Morocco 2025).
As the first large-scale professional new energy exhibition in Africa, this event was not only a trade show, but also a strategic window that faces North Africa and radiates toward Europe and the United States. By combining “exhibition + market visit”, Xishan seized the opportunity to step into the local market, and presented the strength, brand image and global layout of “Made in Wuxi, Ridden Worldwide” to buyers from across the region.

1. Wuxi Drive, Global Ride: Cluster of Xishan EV Manufacturers
The trip was organised by the Xishan Electric Vehicle International Trade Association, with a strong line-up of member companies including Tailg, Yadea, Enwa, Yimano, Tenghui, Kaining, Shenyun, Saige and more. Together they occupied more than 300 square metres of exhibition space.
From new product launches to technical exchanges, and from business negotiations to brand promotion, Xishan companies presented themselves with a highly professional, industrial and international image. Their booths attracted strong attention from both African and European buyers.
Under the theme “Wuxi Drive, Global Ride”, Xishan enterprises chose to “go global together” instead of fighting alone. At the 2025 Morocco expo, this group strategy significantly boosted their bargaining power and brand visibility, and fully demonstrated the synergy effect of an industrial cluster going overseas.
During the exhibition, more than 15,000 professional buyers from over 20 countries – including the United States, Germany and South Korea – came to visit and negotiate. The Xishan area remained busy throughout the show, and many companies received concrete cooperation intentions on-site, turning traffic and interest into real business leads.

Tailg, Yadea, Nwow and other Xishan brands share a 300 m² booth to showcase electric scooters and motorcycles to African and European buyers.
2. XEVITA × AMICA: A Strategic Handshake for Two-Wheeler Cooperation
One of the most important milestones of this trip took place at the opening ceremony. The Xishan Electric Vehicle Foreign Trade Association (XEVITA) signed a cooperation agreement with the Moroccan Association for Industry and Trade in the Automobile Sector (AMICA). The two sides agreed to work together to promote the popularisation and standardisation of electric two-wheelers in the Moroccan market.
This partnership builds a long-term communication channel between Xishan and the North African new energy industry. It also lays an institutional foundation for future collaboration in areas such as production capacity cooperation, manufacturing coordination, talent cultivation and mutual recognition of technical standards.
For local authorities, this means a more systematic channel to introduce Chinese technology and products. For China electric scooter manufacturers in Morocco, it means a clearer policy framework, a more stable industry partner, and a reliable platform for long-term market development rather than short-term, one-off deals.

3. North Africa: New Blue Ocean and Global Link for Electric Scooters
Morocco is the first North African country to sign a Belt and Road cooperation document with China. At the same time, it maintains open trade links with the United States, the European Union and the African continent. Electric vehicle manufacturing in Morocco enjoys policy advantages for entering European and American markets, as well as access to 44 African countries. This makes the Morocco electric scooter market a strategic hub for “going global”.
Against this background, the collective appearance of Xishan enterprises was more than a simple exhibition. It was a deep connection between the electric two-wheeler industry chain and global markets.
During the expo, Xishan companies showcased products noted for their durability, long range and strong adaptability to local road conditions. These strengths were widely recognised by buyers. Tailg, for example, achieved an intended transaction amount of USD 3.7 million on-site, clearly demonstrating the comprehensive competitiveness of the Xishan electric scooter industry.

Walking Out to the World – and Bringing the World Back In
The association has stated that it will continue to adhere to the strategy of clustered going-global, industrial connectivity and platform empowerment. It will actively build a cooperation network with industry organisations and partners around the world, opening more windows for Xishan enterprises to connect with global markets.
At the same time, XEVITA will continue to promote the construction of long-term international cooperation mechanisms. The goal is to help Xishan’s electric vehicle industry climb higher in the global new energy wave, and to ensure that “Wuxi Intelligent Manufacturing” not only goes out to the world, but also brings advanced experience and global demand insights back into the local industrial upgrading process.
The sunshine of North Africa has already witnessed the strength of Xishan. On the next journey, Xishan electric scooter manufacturers will continue to ride side by side with partners around the world, exploring broader markets and building a shared future for green mobility.
