How the Association Helps the Xishan Electric Vehicle Industry Go Global

The strong presence of Xishan companies at the Canton Fair reflects coordinated efforts by the local government, the industry association, and individual businesses. Working with the Xishan District Bureau of Commerce, the Wuxi Xishan Electric Vehicle Foreign Trade Association planned support in advance and stayed closely involved throughout the event.

Before the fair opened, the association organized a two-wheeler industry sourcing and matchmaking event to connect overseas buyers with suppliers and build momentum for business discussions at the Canton Fair. During the exhibition, association representatives travelled with the delegation to Guangzhou, maintained contact with participating companies, visited booths, helped match supply and demand, and collected exhibitors’ needs so that businesses could connect with international buyers more efficiently.

The association also regularly organizes member companies to participate collectively in professional exhibitions in China and overseas, helping them broaden export channels. To support digital outreach, it launched the Xishan electric vehicle industry website at www.xishanev.com. By combining in-person exhibitions with an online platform, the association helps local manufacturers promote their own brands and develop international markets. It also supports local investment promotion by presenting the strengths of Xishan’s complete electric vehicle supply chain and identifying cooperation opportunities across upstream and downstream businesses.

Looking Ahead: More Global Opportunities

The 140th Canton Fair has only just begun, and Xishan’s electric two-wheeler and e-bike companies are ready to build on this early momentum. With product development, coordinated industry support, international exhibitions, and digital channels working together, the Xishan electric vehicle industry is strengthening its connections with global buyers and helping Made in Xishan products reach more markets worldwide.
