China’s Xishan Electric Vehicle International Trade Association (XEVITA) in Wuxi has emerged as a strong force in electric two-wheeled vehicle production. Established in May 2022, the association brings together leading brands—Yadea, TAILG, SUNRA, and others—whose combined output represents over 35% of global two-wheeler EV production.
Membership & Export Portfolio
Today, XEVITA counts 58 member units, spanning vehicle makers, component suppliers, and foreign-trade companies. The export portfolio covers electric motorbikes, e-bikes, motors, wheels, chargers, controllers and other critical parts across the two-wheeler supply chain.
Industrial Momentum in Xishan
Xishan’s electric-vehicle sector has grown rapidly. In 2022, production reached 13 million vehicles (+43% YoY), accounting for more than one-third of China’s national output. Overseas shipments were also strong, with exports of USD 506 million (+28.9% YoY).
EICMA 2023 Delegation
To strengthen its global footprint, the Xishan District Electric Vehicle Foreign Trade Association organized 16 major enterprises to exhibit at EICMA 2023 in Milan, Italy. The delegation occupies 2,000 m²—the largest overseas collective exhibition ever organized by Wuxi—aimed at capturing a larger share of the European two-wheeler EV market.
