The 139th Canton Fair

The 139th Canton Fair opened in Guangzhou on April 15, once again connecting global buyers with Chinese manufacturing. Covering around 1.55 million square meters, with about 75,000 booths and over 32,000 exhibitors, this year’s fair reached a new record in scale.

Xishan’s two-wheeler sector was one of the standout highlights at this year’s fair. With around 45 companies, over 100 booths, and about 20 branded booths, the district showed strong momentum in motorcycles and electric vehicles, reinforcing XEVITA’s growing brand visibility and competitiveness in global markets.

Global Exploration Across Europe, Africa and the Middle East

Milan: Showcasing China’s Electric Motorcycles to European Buyers

At the 2025 Milan two-wheeler show, Xishan brands showcased strong technology and quality, boosting the global recognition of “Made in Xishan” and reinforcing their reliability for European buyers. Market research in Switzerland and France revealed weaker consumer purchasing power and limits of large single-container orders. To adapt, the delegation recommended building European overseas warehouses and developing an online–offline retail system to improve delivery speed, expand channels and meet local market needs.

Morocco: Exhibition + Field Study Opening a North African Window

In Morocco, the delegation joined the country’s first New Energy and Energy Storage Expo, where Xishan brands such as Tailg, Yadea and others drew strong interest—Tailg alone securing USD 3.7 million in intended deals. Field studies in Casablanca and Marrakech further revealed local regulations, market access needs and consumer preferences. These insights will help Chinese electric scooter and motorcycle companies refine their products and strategies for the expanding North African market.

Entering Egypt: Planning for Africa’s Largest Population Market

In Egypt—the most populous and fast-growing mobility market in Africa—the delegation studied Yadea’s local stores to understand operations, product fit, and consumer habits. These on-site insights offer practical guidance for Xishan’s electric scooter manufacturers as they plan entry into Egypt and other major African markets with strong two-wheeler demand.

Going Deeper into the Middle East: Opening a New Window in Dubai

In Dubai, fuel motorcycles still dominate delivery services, but the shift toward electrification is accelerating. With products tailored to local climate and road conditions, Xishan’s electric scooter manufacturers offer strong options for buyers and distributors looking to transition from fuel to electric—providing a clear pathway for entering the Middle Eastern market.
